Even familiar favourites can have scary episodes, loud moments or a frantic pace. If some shows leave your little one wound up, you’re not alone in wanting something gentler.

We check individual episodes for pacing, sound and themes, leaving out scary or overly intense moments. You shouldn’t have to preview every episode yourself.

What do we look out for?

Pacing and sound. Frantic editing, sudden loud sounds and unusually intense sequences.
Frightening moments. A scary dream or a character in danger, even in an otherwise gentle show.
Themes and emotions. Distressing storylines that a slower pace or a familiar character doesn’t make gentler.

We choose episode by episode, not by a show’s reputation. Every child is different, and you know yours best.

Where can we watch Meadow?

Meadow is available now on Amazon Fire TV. Start your trial, then sign in to the Meadow app on your Fire TV. More platforms, including web viewing, are coming soon.

Why Meadow if we can find these shows elsewhere?

You’re paying for the selection, not exclusive shows. We check individual episodes, bring our choices together in one library and leave out recommendation rabbit holes. You also get optional picture filters and a daily viewing limit.

What happens after the free trial?

Your first 7 days are free. After that, Meadow is $4.99 per month unless you cancel. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.

Can I cancel whenever I like?

How are the episodes chosen?
